Mark Westmacott B.E. Elect (Syd)Mark_pic

A graduate of Sydney University in Electrical Engineering, Mark spent the early years in Control System Engineering with a large Mechanical Services company in Sydney. Moving on to Engineering Management, Mark then sep up support for a growing number of Licensees in South East Asia using the Company's Distributed Control System products, finally spending 4 years in Malaysia. 

Returning to Australia in 1997, Mark managed commercial operations for Control Systems and Mechancial Services, then Integrated Security Management Systems for Mission Critical applications including Correctional Centres and Banks, managing a Research and Development team producing software and embedded microcontroller products for facility controls, access control, system integration, monitoring centres and integrated security systems.

In 2007 Mark founded Zamatech, a company focussed on Engineering Services for Control and Monitoring applications in Commercial and Mission Critical applications.



Adrian Michaels

Adrian takes a hands-on leadership role in the development and implementation of energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emission reduction programmes in the built environment. Adrian also provides specialist advice to property owners in the areas of sustainability, building control and energy metering systems.

 

Adrian previously held the role of Manager, Sustainable Building Operations with property owner and developer Mirvac for four years. In that role Adrian worked closely with Mirvac’s engineering and operations staff to address a broad range of sustainability and building services issues across Mirvac’s extensive investment property portfolio.

 

Adrian’s has an electrical engineering background and holds qualifications in electrical engineering and management. He has worked in the commercial air conditioning industry for over 22 years, specialising in building automation systems and energy management.

 

He presents regularly at industry conferences and training forums on energy management, sustainable building operations and control systems. He is a member of AIRAH (Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Engineers) and is a NABERS (NAtional Building Emissions Ratings Scheme) and Commercial Building Disclosure Accredited Assessor.

Ross Ismay


Ross is a qualified field engineer and system installation supervisor and programmer. With over 20 years experience in a variety of automation and monitoring systems, Ross takes pride in ensuring that the quality of on-site work by contractors is of a high quality.

 

Ross is also an Accredited Rockwell PLC maintainer and is qualified to maintain and modify a range of control systems. Where Zamatech provides installation and commissioning management, Ross is at the front line, ensuring that the standards expected by clients are achieved and that projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
